Change a brewin

Well I know I said I wouldn't probably post until Europe...oh well I have a bit of time so I thought I'd write...
I'm in Illinois right now.
I arrived yesterday afternoon (LONG trip)
met Sarah and Scott and then we went and rehearsed at the college for a bit...
then we went to the venue and ran through some things for the recital this afternoon.
We had an amazing dinner...
the apartment is cute...
it's comfortable...
I slept extremely well....
the recital was at 4...it went really well.
I had several memory slips...but other than that I think it went very well.
We just listend to the recording this evening.
Carren took us all out for a lovely dinner at Biaggi's...I wanted to drink a glass of wine but knowing I have lots of singing the next few days I know that isn't going to be good for me...
We got back and I decided to go to wal-mart and get a few things...
my car started acting funny.
Well now it's totally acting funny and the check engine light is one.
THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING!
I just bought this car
it's under warranty and it has VERY few miles on it for it's year.
So tomorrow morning I've got to get up and call AAA to have it towed to this place to have it loooked at.
GRRRRRRRRR
luckily our last recital here isn't until 4.
I'm praying so hard that this isn't a MAJOR problem...
that it's just something minor that may only require little money and time.
Our recital is at 4 and then afterwards we will be heading back to Ohio.
We probably won't be getting back to Ohio until fairly late.
I need this drive to clear my head and to think about a lot of things...
there are so many things that need to change.
Things that have to be different for my own sanity.
I've stepped out of my box enough and now it's time for me to just be dead honest--even if it hurts for a while.
It will...
but that will eventually go away and things will end up better.
So the drive is molto importante...so hopefully my little car will get better and I can just cruise on the down the road behind Sarah.
Monday is our recital in Ohio. hopefully if things go well we'll get to Ohio late...sleep in FOREVER...relax and lay around most of the day, and then head to the church for the concert.
*crosses fingers*
I'm heading to bed...
p.s. Hugs and kisses to my boy in Alabama this weekend for your sweet e-mail. :)

Well this may be my last post for a little while.
I'm swamped with figuring stuff out for my summer in Europe and taking care of things. I leave June 1 and will be in Italy until July 3 and then have a week off which I will be more than likely spending laying out somewhere on the Mediterrenean coast and then it's off to Germany for another month.
Things have been busy. Lots of voice lessons in the past two weeks...way too much music to learn...overwhelmed. haha Been running a lot-it's been very nice. We went 4.5 miles the other day...couldn't believe it. It has been years since I've ran that long.
Nothing much more to say.
Going to Chicago this weekend to do concerts with my Sarah...
then one in Ohio on Monday...
then it's TONS of coachings next week
lots of planning and memorizing.
Hopefully everyone has a great summer.
Look for an update in June sometime from Italy.
XOXOXO

Finals

Final week...
can't believe the semester is over-the year for that matter.
Busy past few weeks.
Have to make sure I'm memorized on one piece for my jury...
have to be a singer from here on out--too much responsibility vocally in the next three months for me to slack off vocally in any way.
Have a final at 9:30 and then I'm done until tomorrow until my jury.
Tired...
didn't get much sleep last night.
Fun weekend...
went to formal with Maggie on Saturday
drank a lot
awesome band and lots of dancing.
Church yesterday
they gave us dinner after which was nice...
cleaned and tried to pull my life together-
things I've been neglecting.
Ran 3 miles with Michael...
went to Leslie's Mexican dinner
amazing food
fun times
not so fun dealing with acid reflux last night
my stomach was in knots.
Gotta jet to the MMAC.
Later-
Justin
